Economic hardships, natural disasters, and the devastating Covid-19 pandemic in the last few years, have pushed many families to the brink of extreme material privation or poverty. In the Food and Clothing project, Niiky foundation is raising funds to provide food and clothing for families in immediate needs. The provided food is often life-saving and life-changing for children, prevents mothers from malnutrition and prevents delinquency and crime in affected families. Niiky Foundation also provides essential clothing items like shoes and winter jackets, to those in need.
In April 2024, we continued our mission to combat hunger in Iran by distributing 300 essential food baskets to families in need in the Sistan-Baluchestan province. This program was made possible by a $10,000 donation, which we fully allocated to providing vital supplies to families in Iranshahr, Sarbaz, and Zahedan.For detailed reports, please refer to the report and receipts documents.
In its ongoing efforts to alleviate hunger in Iran, the Niiky Foundation delivered its second food basket program in Khuzestan province. In this phase, 300 essential food baskets have been delivered to 300 families across four regions including Susangerd (سوسنگرد), Izeh (ایذه), Chanan (کنعان), and Kooye Mandali (کوی مندلی).
In addition, 38 pairs of sports shoes and 30 sets of sports outfits were purchased and delivered to 68 teenage athletes, enabling them to continue their sports activities. Further details can be found in the project report and receipts.
The milk powder shortage has caused significant concern in Iran in recent years, especially in underrepresented regions. In the winter of 2024, the Niiky Foundation, in collaboration with local partners, supplied 660 cans of milk powder to several rural areas in Sistan-Baluchestan. This project aimed to provide essential food baskets to 150 families in need in four regions including Qalaat Chanan (قلعه چنعان), Kooye Mandali (کوی مندلی), Sayyahi (سیاحی), and Salim Abad (سلیم آباد).
The project operated within a total budget of $3,000, providing essential sustenance to 150 families for an entire month. For further details, see the project report and receipts.
This campaign was lunched to provide vital support to families residing in four underserved regions within the Sistan-Baluchestan province, namely Iranshahr (ایرانشهر), Sarbaz (سرباز), Zahedan (زاهدان), and Qasr-e Qand (قصرقند).
The total funds raised in this campaign were $8770. Of the total funds raised, a sum of $6000 was allocated to provide crucial support to a total of 300 families in Sistan-Baluchestan for a full month. The remaining funds were judiciously utilized to ensure the provision of nutritional essentials to an additional 150 families within the Pakdasht region of the Tehran province including Qohe (قوهه), Jito (جیتو), Turkabad (ترکآباد), Shen-mase (شنوماسه), Sepah Square, and Froonabad ( فرونآباد ). Our winter food basket fundraising campaign was launched in November and was completed by the end of the year. It was designed to support children in underrepresented regions of five provinces: Sistan-Baluchestan, Khuzestan, Kurdistan, Kerman, and Lorestan. The campaign aimed to tackle food insecurity and malnutrition, which have been identified as critical issues affecting many children in these regions.
Thanks to our donors, the food basket fundraising campaign successfully raised $6614 to provide the nutritional requirements that cover 2675 children’s food for one month. Local organizations are utilizing the funds raised to provide food baskets containing a variety of staple foods such as rice, beans, lentils, cooking oil, and meat.

In our first fundraising event, in April 2022, Niiky Foundation attempted to provide one month’s worth of food bags for families in rural regions of Sistan-Baluchestan in the south-east of Iran. In this fund raising event, we have raised $3,980.87 for this food donation project, which covered 166 food bags for families in need. For more information, you may also check out the project report.
